Psalm 15
LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?
He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart
–Psalm 15:1-2, NIV
John 15
[Jesus said to them,]
“This is my command:
Love each other.”
–John 15:17, NIV
Meditation
Prayer
The LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron and his sons, 'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."'”
–Numbers 6:22-26
Find a moment of silence and reflect on the words,
“The LORD bless you and keep you.”
The word “keep” holds the idea of being guarded.
What would it mean for God to “keep you”?
Action
Pray today for the protection of someone else, the most vulnerable person you can think of.
