Proseuche Devotions: Day 12

Proseuche Devotions
Daily Word
Psalm 12
"Because of the oppression of the weak
and the groaning of the needy,
I will now arise," says the LORD.
"I will protect them from those who malign them."  –Psalm 12:5, NIV

            Read Psalm 12 (NASB, NIV)
Listen to Psalm 12 (NASB, NIV)

John 12
Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat
falls to the ground and dies,
it remains only a single seed.
But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
The man who loves his life will lose it,
while the man who hates his life in this world
will keep it for eternal life.
Whoever serves me must follow me;
and where I am, my servant also will be.
My Father will honor the one who serves me.  –John 12:23-26

            Read John 12 (NASB, NIV)
Listen to John 12 (NASB, NIV)

Meditation

Prayer
Pray, then, in this way:
Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.  And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.] Amen. –Matthew 6:9-13

Find a moment of silence and reflect on the words,
“For Yours is the kingdom and the power.”

Praise our King who comes in power!
Praise the Mighty One!
Lay yourself at the feet of Almighty God.

Action
Sing a worship song or hymn that praises the Almighty One.
