Psalm 40
I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the LORD.

Acts 20
“Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
When he had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed. They all wept as they embraced him and kissed him. What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship.

Prayer
My Father in Heaven,
May we honor your name.
I pray that you would be with those who are reading this right now, comforting them with your presence and your love. I ask that you might reveal to this one the answer to her question, give to her the desire of her heart, and keep her safe in Your perfect will. Forgive her of her sins, and give her the gift of forgiveness, that she may forgive others. Be her protector, from others and from herself. You are holy—you are good.
