Proseuche Devotions: Day 33

Proseuche Devotions
Daily Word
Psalm 33

Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully, and shout for joy.
For the word of the LORD is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does. –Psalm 33:3-4, NIV

            Read Psalm 33 (NASB, NIV)
                    Listen to Psalm 33 (NASB, NIV)

Acts 13
On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and talked abusively against what Paul was saying.
Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
   " 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
      that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
The word of the Lord spread through the whole region.
–Acts 13:44-48, NIV

            Read Acts 13 (NASB, NIV)

Meditation

Prayer
Acts 4:29-31
            “Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
Amen.

Find a moment of silence and reflect on the words,
Stretch out your hand to heal.”

If God healed in the past, can Hen, could He, would He heal today?
Pray and ask God for you own healing today.
Healing of body.
Healing of mind.
Healing of spirit.

Action
Do something today to build up your health.  For example, you might take a relaxing bath, remember your vitamins, stretch, write in your journal, paint, do a crossword puzzle, crochet, read a book—whatever is healing for you.
